The Platform
A: Yes. The platform is 100% ad-supported. We believe travel discovery should be accessible to everyone. We monetize through advertising so you can focus on building your Travel Legacy without a subscription fee.
A: Not yet, but it is part of our roadmap. We are a bootstrapped startup taking a phased approach. Right now, we have focused on building a fully responsive mobile web experience that works on any device. We value the community’s input on the current features before we commit to a native app build.
A: Google shows you what’s popular. We show you what’s for you. We focus on the traveler, not just the destination. Instead of generic Top-10 lists, you get recommendations filtered by Travel Styles—connecting you with people who actually travel like you.
A: Most sites give you generic reviews and ratings. Our review system takes your personal preferences into account and provides a unique rating for each destination tailored specifically to you. Couple this with our Travel Styles to find insights from people who actually travel like you, and we’ve laid the groundwork for future AI agents and personal assistants to truly understand, learn from, and apply your specific vibe to future trips.
Trust & Safety
A: Our Featured Travelers aren’t necessarily “travel experts” or influencers with millions of followers. They are real people with authentic stories. We verify their active social media presence to ensure they are legitimate travelers, but our goal is to capture diverse perspectives—whether you’ve visited a city once or lived there for years.
A: We are currently building a dedicated “Report Post” button into our new interface. In the meantime, if you see content that violates our community standards, please use the Contact Us page. Include a link to the post, and our team will review it.
A: Most sites give you a generic 5-star average. That’s useless if you and the reviewer have nothing in common. Our system calculates a score based on your specific My Travel Priorities. You rank what matters (e.g., Safety, Food, Nightlife), and we weigh the destination’s score against your personal criteria. It’s not just a rating; it’s a match percentage.
A: When browsing the Travel Feed, you can toggle “Filter by moving the map.” This filters the feed to show only the posts currently visible in your map’s viewport. It’s the fastest way to see what’s happening in a specific region or neighborhood.
