Sitges is a stunning place. It's a nice, calm contrast to busy Barcelona, yet only a quick ride away.
The historical city is beautiful at every turn, and the beach makes for a gorgeous visit.
I've been to Barcelona a handful of times and always find new things to do. I love the sunny weather, and the vibrant energy of the city. The food and wine scene is incredible, and best of all - Barcelona is so well-connected as an international hub.
The biggest challenge in visiting Barcelona is pick-pocketing and theft. It is very common here. After visiting 70+ countries, and countless cities as an avid traveler, this is the only city where I've had something stolen from me.
Vancouver is a safe place to travel for solo travellers or groups. There may be limited attractions and experiences compared to larger cities, but we have mountains and water everywhere that make up for it. If you enjoy being surrounded by nature while also enjoying multicultural cuisine and great views, you'll love Vancouver.
"So we just sit here and look at it?" - Ilya from Heated Rivalry
This perfectly sums up visiting Vancouver.
Chiang Mai is a perfect base for exploring Northern Thailand, great foodie destination and a great place to immerse yourself in the Northern Thai culture and history. It feels more like a large village than a city, but that's a good thing for me.
Be aware of the smokey season with very bad air quality in March and April.
