What makes this destination even more special for me is that it’s just around 650 km from my current home, making it easy to revisit whenever I crave the thrill of the dunes. Unlike many desert destinations, you can choose from a 4×4 Jeep, Toyota Fortuner, or even a Land Rover Defender for an unforgettable dune bashing experience.
The best part? It offers an adventure that easily rivals Dubai and Africa, but at a much more affordable price.

Watching the sunrise and sunset over the endless Desert is nothing short of magical and remains one of my favourite travel memories.
And no trip to this city feels complete without trying its unique local treats. If you’re feeling adventurous, don’t miss the famous cannabis biscuit and a refreshing glass of cannabis milk drink, both of which are well-known regional specialties.
If you ever ask me to recommend a desert safari destination that perfectly balances adventure, culture, history, and value for money, this city will always be at the top of my list.
Now guess the city, and if you have been here then share some pictures.
